Starting April 1, 2024, there is new legislation regarding installing solid fuel stoves and gas boilers as primary heating systems in newly built homes. Existing homes are unaffected. Emergency heating exceptions are allowed. The aim is to reduce emissions and promote sustainable heating solutions.
